Right now is arguably the most chaotic time of year – back to school! With students of all ages headed back to school, Caddle wanted to know specifically how this year is different for children and parents alike.
Alongside the back to school season, Q4 is the busiest time of year for brands and retailers. However, real GDP declined 1.1% (annualized) in the second quarter, well below consensus expectations for a 2.5% expansion. With a slowing economic recovery, this holiday season is uncertain as we approach Q4. With a bumpy road to recovery, Caddle is sharing what we discovered around back to school with our interactive dashboard reports so that you can best utilize our free resources in the coming months.
How to Look at Caddle Dashboard Reports
- Sample details: This is where you see all of the panel details, such as sample size, generation breakdown, and gender split.
- Panel filters: Here are the first set of filters you can manipulate in our dashboard report. This includes important demographic filters such as gender, generation, and province.
- Panel data (demographics): A visualization of the panel filters
- Question filters: Not only can you filter on basic demographics, you can also filter based on how respondents answered the question within the survey itself.
- Questions and responses: The 5 charts generated from the survey
Is the Filter On?
The most powerful tool with Caddle’s interactive dashboard report is the ability to easily manipulate the data by putting on filters. Filters are found on the top right hand corner of each blue header, where you can select one or multiple filters at the same time. To take off all filters, all you need to do is click on the filter icon and that will ensure all filters are removed from the dashboard report.
Multi-Select vs. Single Select
Another useful tool Caddle’s dashboard reports offer is the ability to have one or multiple filters selected at once.
For example, what if we want to see Millennials and Gen Z who answered ‘Yes’ for question 1?
Or Female Baby Boomers that shop at Canadian Tire?
As you can see, you can get very granular and detailed information once you know all that the interactive dashboard has to offer.
